Mission: Preamble
Posted on Sat Aug 15th, 2026 @ 4:15pm by Lieutenant Talia Renn & Commander Erris Sudis

Commander Sudis Erris emerged from the Turbolift onto the Galaxy-class bridge module. This was by far the largest bridge configuration he had seen with spacious amount of duty stations. He counted fifteen duty stations on the bridge. The brain of starship operations. He found himself by the Security station, "Morning, Lieutenant. I am first officer Commander Sudis."

Talia looked up from the Security station, one hand still resting near the manifest overlay she had been reviewing. The display was dense with cargo scan results, origin tags, and a short but growing list of items marked for secondary verification.

The Commander’s…

Mission: Preamble
Posted on Fri Aug 14th, 2026 @ 10:05pm by Lieutenant Thomas Fletcher

Tom found the entire family exactly where he expected to.

Taran was repairing a piece of agricultural equipment that had almost certainly not required repairing before he had started examining it.

Pela was reading beneath the shade of a tree.

Ralen was attempting to assist his father in ways that appeared to be creating considerably more work than they were preventing.

The senior staff briefing should, by all rights, have made him feel more prepared.

Instead, it had achieved precisely the opposite.

Tom sat beside the firepit watching the last traces of sunlight disappear beyond the distant hills and found himself thinking about starships for the first time in weeks. For nearly a month his world had shrunk to irrigation systems, survey markers and construction schedules. His days had become measured not in duty shifts or maintenance reports, but in pipeline sections completed, pressure readings improved and whatever fresh challenge the aqueduct project had decided to present him with that morning.…

Captain’s Log Stardate 23768.07

The Venture, accompanied by the USS Alliance, USS Crimson Tide and USS San Jose, has departed Deep Space Nine. We’ve completed our crossing of the Bajoran Wormhole and are now making our way through the cusps of the Starfleet Control Zone on our way to New Bajor.

Due to the nature of cargo that is being tugged behind the San Jose we continue onwards at a measly warp 1.5. I understand from Captain Rhys that this is because the stasis fields used to secure some of the more delegate biological material are susceptible to subspace flux…

Mission: Preamble
Posted on Wed Jul 22nd, 2026 @ 5:44am by Commander Nasra sh'Zarath & Captain Connor Nolan & Lieutenant Talia Renn & Lieutenant JG Daniel Rimkin & Lieutenant JG Jippo & Petty Officer 3rd Class Virawin Kerara

The bridge of the USS Venture was a hum of last minute activity. The cacophony of beeps from alerts across the bridges expansive set of consoles acted as a backing track to the voices of the officers at work. After a three month long refit, an overhaul of the command team and senior officers, the veteran starship was ready to once more return it its original mission of discovery.

The typical horseshoe layout of the Galaxy Class bridge remained, but the ramps that provided the gradual gradient from the top section of the bridge, down to the large viewsceen at…
