Mission: Rekantha
Posted on Sun Oct 11th, 2026 @ 6:21pm by Lieutenant Grace Sternwood PhD & Captain Connor Nolan & Lieutenant Talia Renn
The briefing aboard the *San Jose* had given Nolan more questions than answers. To the eye, the Batos looked healthy. The tricorder readings agreed. Good weight. No obvious distress. Nothing that explained the strange fluctuations in their stasis fields.
Nolan had spent enough of his career around machines to know when the numbers were telling him something was wrong. He also knew when he'd reached the edge of his own expertise. After all, that was what Chief Scientists were for and was why he was glad for such an accomplished one onboard the Venture.

Mission: Rekantha
Posted on Tue Oct 6th, 2026 @ 10:28am by Captain Connor Nolan & Commander Erris Sudis & Lieutenant Commander Saori Takebe & Lieutenant Talia Renn
Nolan nodded to the Transporter Chief as Sudis and he entered the transport room.
“All I know is they’ve requested our presence after finding some unusual readings. The San Jose’s Captain was suitably vague. Which, doesn’t fill me full of confidence. I’ve been nursing a gut feeling since we passed through the wormhole.” together, the Captain and Executive Officer approached the equipment rack.

Mission: Preamble

This was it. This was the first day of the rest of her life. That sounded perhaps a bit melodramatic, after all, would a practical person not say that every day was the first day of the rest of one's life? But in this case, today really marked a significant step. Her first day on active duty again after a prolonged recovery period following severe injuries sustained during the Dominion war. Her ship, the USS Acadia, had been boarded by Jem'Hadar, and she'd gotten grievously injured while fighting them off. Fortunately it had proven enough, as the ship survived as…

Mission: Preamble
Posted on Tue Sep 8th, 2026 @ 5:40pm by Lieutenant Thomas Fletcher
The final morning on the Kalen farm arrived beneath clear skies and the sort of sunshine that seemed almost custom-built to make departures more difficult.
Tom was awake before everyone else.
Years of Starfleet service had made sleeping late something of a lost art, regardless of how much free time circumstances occasionally provided. By the time the first hints of dawn had begun creeping across the fields, he was already sitting on the farmhouse porch with a mug of coffee balanced between both hands.
The farm was quiet.
Not silent.
Never silent.
Somewhere in the distance an irrigation pump hummed…
